Couples Day Retreat in the Countryside
A full day to reconnect, deepen intimacy, and strengthen your relationship
Private retreat for one couple – 1 hour from Stockholm
Sometimes a relationship needs a little more space.
More time.
A slower pace.
A chance to be together without distractions.
This couples day retreat offers that space.
You step out of your daily life and into a quieter environment—together.
The retreat takes place in the countryside, about one hour from Stockholm.
It is a private day, guided by two therapists, where you can slow down, reconnect, and gently begin to shift the patterns that create distance.
Not by pushing for change.
But by allowing something new to unfold between you.
What this day includes
- Two guided 2-hour couples sessions
- Two couples therapists with 14 years experience (male and female perspective with Jivan Dios and Alf Galfvensjö)
- A calm and private setting in nature
- Time between sessions to rest, walk, or simply be
- Lunch included
This day is created for one couple at a time.
How we work
The day has a clear structure, with space to arrive and settle.
We use guided dialogue, practical tools, and simple body awareness.
This helps you stay present, even when emotions are there.
You will be supported to:
- Understand patterns in your relationship
- Communicate in a clearer and more honest way
- Listen without immediately reacting
- Stay connected when emotions arise
- Rebuild a sense of safety, in the relationship and in the body
Our work integrates Imago Relationship Therapy, the Gottman Method, somatic therapy, and principles inspired by Diana (Puja) Richardson.
Less analysis.
More direct experience.
Intimacy and Sex
Intimacy often changes over time.
It may feel less natural.
Sometimes there is pressure.
Sometimes there is distance.
In this retreat, intimacy is not treated as something to fix.
Instead, we explore how presence, safety, and connection influence your experience of being close—and of making love.
Inspired by the work of Diana (Puja) Richardson, the focus is simple:
- Less performance
- More presence
- Less pressure
- More natural connection
You may begin to notice:
- How tension affects intimacy
- How the body responds when there is more space
- How emotional and physical connection are linked
This is a gentle and respectful exploration.
No techniques to perform.
Just a deeper awareness of what is already there.
Why a full day?
In daily life, it is easy to stay on the surface.
Even in therapy, it can take time to arrive.
A full day gives you:
- Time to settle
- Time to go a little deeper
- Time to see each other more clearly
For many couples, this creates an important shift.
A different kind of support
You will be guided by two therapists—Jivan Dios and Alf Galfvensjö—who also share a life together.
This offers:
- A male and female perspective
- Real-life understanding of relationships
- A warm, clear, and grounded approach
You are met as you are.
And supported to move forward together.
Who this is for
This retreat is for couples who:
- Feel stuck in repeating patterns
- Want better communication
