Couples Therapy and Relationship Counselling in Stockholm or Online
If you’re both arguing more than understanding each other, or feel like you’re slowly drifting apart — you’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
I work with couples in Stockholm and online who are tired of the same arguments going nowhere, and who want to actually feel close again. Not just cope better — but genuinely change how you are together.
What shifts in couples therapy:
Communication that finally feels safe. Understanding what’s really underneath the conflict. Finding each other again after distance has grown. Learning to navigate stress, change, and difference — together.
For many couples, this is the first time something truly begins to shift.
From conflict to connection
Couples therapy can help you slow down, understand what happens beneath conflict, and rebuild closeness, trust, and emotional safety in relationship.
Sessions are offered in person in Stockholm or online.
From the Blog
Relationships don’t change through pressure.
They shift through awareness.
In my reflections, I explore presence, triggers, communication, and how we can move from conflict to connection — gently and practically.
“We came to couples therapy feeling stuck in the same conflicts and unsure how to talk to each other without things escalating. The sessions helped us slow down and understand each other better. It feels calmer between us now, and we have tools we can use when difficult moments arise.”

Come Closer. Heal. Grow Together.
When distance grows, it can feel like the end. But it can also be the beginning — of real understanding and deeper connection.
In our sessions you’ll have space to be truly heard, tools that turn conflict into connection, and a fresh way of seeing yourself and each other. I combine Imago Relationship Therapy, the Gottman Method, and mindful communication to help you listen, feel, and reconnect.
You don’t need to wait for a crisis. Couples therapy works best when you come before things break down completely.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does couples therapy work? We meet for 100-minute sessions where both of you have space to speak and be heard — often for the first time without the conversation escalating. I guide the process so it feels safe and structured. Over time, you develop new ways of communicating and understanding each other that you can use outside of sessions too.
Do we have to be in crisis to start? No — and in fact, the earlier you come the easier the work tends to be. Many couples come not because things are terrible, but because they want more closeness, better communication, or to work through a specific transition together.
What if my partner is reluctant to come? This is very common. Sometimes it helps to frame it not as “therapy” but as a space to be heard and understood — for both of you, not just one. A free 15-minute call with me can also help a hesitant partner get a feel for the process before committing.
How many sessions will we need? It varies. Some couples feel a significant shift within 6-8 sessions. Others choose to work together longer. We’ll discuss what feels right for you as we go — there’s no fixed program or obligation.
Can we do couples therapy online? Yes. Online sessions work very well for couples therapy and are available in English, Swedish, or French. Many couples prefer it for the convenience, and some find it easier to open up from their own home.
What is Imago Relationship Therapy?
Imago is a structured approach that helps couples understand why they chose each other and what their conflicts are really about beneath the surface. It uses a specific dialogue process that slows communication down and creates genuine understanding. It’s particularly effective for couples caught in repetitive arguments.
What does couples therapy cost?
2250 kr per session. I don’t work with insurance reimbursement, but sessions can sometimes be partially covered depending on your employer wellness benefits.
Do you offer therapy in English and French?
Yes. I work with couples in Swedish, English, and French — including mixed-language couples where partners prefer to speak different languages in the same session.
